Due to a technical issue beyond our control, the standalone launcher has been retired. Steam authentication is now integrated directly into Conflict of Darkness. This change simplifies the login process. When you launch the game, your web browser will open to complete Steam sign-in. Once authentication is complete, the game will automatically continue to the main menu. You may then safely close the browser window. On your next visits to the game the browser will still open to check your identity but the browser will close automatically and you'll be signed in with the last steam account you accessed the game with.

Today marks our official open testing for version 2.9. If you find any issues, please let us know via the discord so we can get this fixed. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated and we hope you enjoy the game. I've been working very hard on this to get it done so I hope nothing major goes wrong from this point forward.

I'd also like to note that the cash shop and subscription features are turned off and will remain that way for the foreseeable future until I'm sure everything is perfected but once I enable those features, there is a level 20 limit on them meaning you need to reach level 20 at least once in order to access them.
